Rider and Stork in Lenormand
Rider is news; Stork is change. Read in that order, the pair says: news announcing a coming change.
Reading Rider + Stork
The Rider brings news, and the Stork announces that the message concerns a coming change. Something arrives quickly and it signals a transition or improvement - a transfer, a move, or a relationship stepping forward. In everyday life this could be an email confirming a promotion or a call saying the flat you wanted is available. The news itself is the messenger of movement: expect things to shift soon after it lands.
How the order works
Rider comes first and supplies the subject: incoming news. Stork comes second and modifies it: moving and improving. Together: Incoming news moving and improving.
Swap them and the sentence changes. Stork + Rider begins with change and transition and ends with arriving quickly — News of an impending change arrives
